International Committee of Indigenous Peoples of Russia (ICIPR) is an Indigenous led organization advocating for the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the Russian Federation.
ICIPR is inviting applications for an Advocacy Coordinator, starting from 1 September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
The Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Organizing and coordinating ICIPR advocacy campaign, strategy and activities;
- Maintaining regular communication and exchange with partner organizations;
- Working closely with the ICIPR Board and other staff members;
- Supporting fundraising and donor-related activities;
- Supporting project documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a motivated and well-organized person with:
- University degree or equivalent higher education;
- Strong organizational and coordination skills;
- A proactive, reliable, and communicative personality;
- Strong Russian and English languages skills;
- Other language skills would be an advantage;
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team;
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Indigenous Peoples’ rights, international law, UN Treaty Bodies and related human rights mechanisms.
